Important information

1. At the moment foreign students can enter the Russian Federation from the countries recommended by the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) as countries with a safe epidemiological situation.

As of 15.07.2021, foreign students from the following countries (having citizenship or a residence permit) can enter Russia: Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Venezuela, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Egypt, India, Jordan, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, China, Cuba, Liechtenstein, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, United Arab Emirates, Portugal, North Macedonia, Seychelles, Serbia, Singapore, Syria, USA, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Finland, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, South Korea, South Ossetia, Japan.

From 15.04.2021 till 16.08.2021, air traffic with Tanzania is suspended.

IMPORTANT: According to the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated July 02, 2021 No. 17, citizens of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan - from July 10, 2021, and citizens of Azerbaijan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan - from September 01, 2021, when crossing the State border of the Russian Federation confirm the negative result of a laboratory study of the material for COVID-19 by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, selected not earlier than 3 calendar days before arrival on the territory of the Russian Federation, using the mobile application “Traveling without COVID-19.”

2. Before arriving on the territory of the Russian Federation, foreign students have to notify the International Department of the date of entry into Russia by e-mail at least 10 days in advance. A list of documents necessary to prepare for entry into Russia will be sent in response.

3. Not earlier than 3 calendar days before arrival on the territory of the Russian Federation it is necessary to do PCR-test for a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 and receive the document (in Russian or English), confirming negative result, and send a scan/photo of this document to the International Department.

4. Within 72 hours after entering the territory of Russia, foreign students have to pass a second PCR-test.

5. Before receiving the test results, students have to keep the self-isolation at the place of residence. After receiving the test results, students should send a scan/photo of this document to the International Department. Without a second test, foreign students are not allowed to in-person training.

If a student has the first symptoms of a respiratory disease (fever, sore throat, sniffles, cough, etc.) during self-isolation, the student has to inform the International Department about it immediately and seek medical attention under the insurance policy.
